A Historic Leap for TIESFPC!

Today marks a proud milestone in our journey as we officially commenced fallow land cultivation at the Ericad Paddy Polder, Puthuppally.

In a heartfelt ceremony, our Managing Director, Dr. Punnen Kurian, shared the journey—detailing the challenges and the resilience required to adopt this land and establish the necessary infrastructure.

Highlights of the Day:

Inauguration: Smt. Lizy (Member, Puthuppally GP) sowed the first seeds.

The Crop: We are proud to use 'Punya' (a high-quality Jyothi x Uma hybrid) provided by KVK Kumarakom.

Innovation: Seeds were sowed using a Seed Drum for precision, with traditional hand-sowing in specialized areas.

We were honored by the presence of Sri. Manu (Sub-Engineer, KSEB, Puthuppally), Sabu (Agriculture assistant, Krishibhavan, Puthupally), Dr.Nelson P Abraham (Chairman), Mohanan Cherian, Jacob George Padinjarekuttu (Convenor, ericad Padashekharam); Sri. Sarath Babu (Adimninistrative Officer, TIES)., and our dedicated Directos Ratnakaran K K., Prince Elias, Latha Jaimon, Abraham O A . and Sri.Jaimon. Ms. Pournami S.Raj, (CEO), Akhila Surendran (Accountant) and Chandradas (Field supervisor) were coordinated the event.

Together, we are turning fallow lands into flourishing fields!
